A stretching club for men.

Do you wake up every morning feeling energized, powerful and ready to take on a new day? Do you live in a body that radiates vitality and suppleness, that FEELS like a well oiled machine? If so, DO NOT READ ON! However, if you wake up feeling tired as the night before, riddled with aches and wondering how you're going to get through the day, we may just have the program for you.

The Program

We are proud to announce our initiative to rid the world of men who are stiff in all the wrong places! Our program involves sessions of simple stretching and advanced abdominal strengthening work. In time, participants will be as supple as a dancer and sporting the enviable "six pack" on their torso, instead of it sitting in the fridge.

Benefits

Our men only program promises to result in all the positive benefits of stretching that many of us are now aware of. These include freedom from aches and pains, improved posture and sporting/physical performance. In addition, stretching can induce what is known as the "Relaxation Response," in essence, the opposite of the stress response and all the physiological responses that accompany it. So in addition to the well known benefits already mentioned, other less well known health benefits can emerge. These include lowered blood pressure, decreased heart rate and increased immune function, all of which are affected by chronic low grade stress.

What´s so different about our program?

Many men have tried yoga, only to be embarrassed or simply unable to manoeuvre themselves into some of the impossible positions that the lithe young female on the mat next to them seems to slip so effortlessly into. Our approach is threefold and quite simple:

  1. We break down complex positions into smaller segments to enable anyone to achieve them quite easily.
  2. We use one of the bodies reflex mechanisms to trick muscles into relaxing and lengthening. Results are therefore faster and changes more permanent because the brain "resets" the resting length of muscles.
  3. We use Pilates equipment to stretch on. We´re certain you´ll find it extremely effective.

Its a well known fact that men tend to overlook their health, often attending to themselves only when "management" of painful conditions, frequently with drugs, is the only remaining option. Why not act now, and get involved in some preventative health practices?
